It is certified as a complete assembly, so the curtain, guides, motor and control gear all have to match the test evidence. The shutter box, guides and bottom rail are sized to the opening and fixed to sound structure.

How much do fire-rated shutters cost?
The entry price is about £3,200 plus VAT. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long does it take?
Lead time is typically 4-6 weeks after survey. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
